The Thompson Homes Difference
Over 45 years of home building experience and knowledge Thompson Homes was started by Paige’s parents, Richard and Jeanne Thompson, in 1978. They were joined by their daughter, Paige, in 1988. In 1994, Paige and her husband Joe Van Elzen took over the business and continue to run it today.
Their son, Hunter Van Elzen , joined them in 2020 and is now learning the business to one day take over the family legacy as the 3rd generation.
Paige, Joe and Hunter work together to offer professional custom home-building solutions.
With a degree and background in interior and architectural design, Paige Van Elzen brings more than 35 years design experience to your project.
Meanwhile, Joe Van Elzen, an engineer by training, sees that your house is completed with meticulous attention to detail and high-quality materials to ensure your home or renovation is what you envision.
Hunter brings in new enthusiasm and fresh eyes to our building process, to continue delivering high quality services to homeowners throughout northeast Wisconsin.
Meet Our Leaders
Paige Van Elzen
Paige has a degree in Interior and Architectural design from UW Stout. She has been designing new homes and renovation projects since 1986. She has her Wisconsin Brokers license. Paige is the up front guide. She helps clients create their new home or renovation design. She works with them in the decision process of picking out and coordinating the products their clients want included in their project to the final part of closing.
